Premiere Bank has entered the retail ATM market as a natural and necessary process for its growth. As the majority of consumers remain cash-oriented, retail ATM placements have been employed by the bank as a strategy to provide convenience to its customers and prospective customers alike. Unbeknownst to many, self-service transactions are more cost-effective for banks that is why most are looking for ways to migrate their over-the-counter transactions to other channels such as the ATM. Premiere Bank Celebrates its 48th Anniversary

Premiere Bank, one of the largest capitalized thrift banks today, was founded by the late Dr. Procopio C. Reyes on July 16, 1960. The Bank grew rapidly as a small, five-man operation known as the Pasay City Development Bank and eventually adopted the name Premiere Development Bank in 1979. While a good number of banks throughout the 1980s were suffering from liquidity problems and were closed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Premiere Bank has remained stable and dedicated to its service.
